Jared Box Donations

IUP Panhellenic and Interfraternity Council will be collecting donations to make Jared Boxes to donate to a local hospital. 

 

A Jared Box is a plastic shoebox that is filled with small gifts, games, crayons, coloring books and other fun activities. Boxes are given to children in the hospital to provide a special, fun diversion. The boxes calm nerves, lift spirits and show the children someone cares!

 

Donation boxes will be in Elkin, the HUB, and the Library. Anyone is welcome to donate! Donations will be accepted from October 21st until November 22nd. You can also donate money directly to IUP Panhellenic through Venmo (@IUPPanhellenic). Money will be used to purchase boxes and toys. 

 

We will be collecting donations for boys and girls ages 5-8. Examples of donations include crayons, markers, pencils, pens, coloring or activity books, reading or joke books, matchbox cars, NERF balls, stuffed animals, stickers, LEGO kits and more. 

 

There is also an Amazon Wishlist you can purchase items off of, or send to family and friends!
