You Matter

"You Matter" is a movement promoting positive mental health. We have the goal of changing just even one person's life. We are completing this goal by displaying signs with the text: "You Matter" displayed at multiple locations both on and off campus. On campus locations will include: the Folger patio, the Oak Grove, and the quad (outside Putt, Delaney, Ruddock, Mapple). Off campus locations will include across from Taco bell (Oakland Ave.) and IRMC Park (corner of N 7th St and Philly St.) Event participation is open to the entire IUP community; we encourage everyone to represent their clubs, organizations, sports teams, etc. when participating to encourage a greater sense of community.

We conducted this movement during the Fall 2022 semester and with only 65 participants, we received tremendous feedback from both the Indiana community and the IUP students. This semester we aim to have over 100 participants and plan to bring more of us together and continue to spread our message, supporting even more students and members of the Indiana community.
