About

The object of the Panhellenic Association shall be to develop and maintain sorority life and intersorority relations at a high level of accomplishment and in so doing to:

•Consider the goals and ideals of member groups as continually applicable to campus and personal life.
•Promote superior scholarship as basic to intellectual achievement.
•Cooperate with member sororities and the university administration in concern for and maintenance of high social and moral standards.
•Act in accordance with the National Panhellenic Conference rules and policies.
•Act in accordance with all rules established by Panhellenic Association so as not to violate the sovereignty, rights, and privileges of member fraternities.

The regular membership of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Panhellenic Association shall be composed of all chapter members in good standing of National Panhellenic Conference fraternities at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The associate membership of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Panhellenic Association shall be composed of all chapter members in good standing of such National Panhellenic Conference colonies, such as local and/or national sororities at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as have been approved by its Panhellenic Association. Panhellenic Recruitment Information!

Recruitment takes place each semester in the early fall and early spring semester! In order to be considered for recruitment a potential new member must have at least 12 credits and a 2.5 GPA. Membership for each chapter varies as well as their GPA requirement. If you have any questions concerning sorority recruitment please email panhellenic.iup@gmail.com.
