Best Buddies International

The mission of Best Buddies is to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities of one-to-one friendship and integrated employment. We do this at the college level by matching college students in mutually enriching friendships with people with intellectual disabilities. Membership in Best Buddies is open to all registered undergraduate and graduate students in good standing at IUP. Students wishing to join Best Buddies must attend the information meeting and meet and greet event held at the beginning of the academic year. Members must also complete an application through bestbuddiesonline.org.
