Whitmyre Hall/Cook Honors College

Whitmyre Hall is a small traditional residence hall on the north side of campus. Within the building, there are several classrooms, a large multipurpose space, and two and a half floors of residential students. The main office, which is close to the front entrance of the building, has an office worker who helps the residence, faculty, staff, and parents when they have questions. A great pride of Whitmyre Hall is its close connection to the Cook Honors College. The Hall house several staff members who help strengthen the honors program here at IUP. The students work constantly to create a better learning enviornment in Whitmyre while trying to strengthen the community that exists. The building has one professional Graduate Residence Director and four community assistants to help address the needs of the residence.
