Eta Sigma Delta

Eta Sigma Delta members unite outstanding students for campus activities, fundraisers, and volunteer programs throughout the year. We are continuously giving back to our school and local community. Members volunteer at the Humane Society, Four Footed Friends, Indiana Regional Medical Center and other available opportunities throughout the community. Members also hold tutoring sessions for any individual within the Hospitality program that is in need of academic assistance. We also hold fundraising events such as: Carnival night, spaghetti dinners, college cookbook recipes, food drives, and t-shirt sales. Fundraising events help us to give back to the community, as well as attend site visits with major hotels, convention center, country clubs, and other establishments in Pittsburgh and Indiana.

Eligibility: 

• Student must be enrolled in an institution that belongs to International CHRIE
• Have completed 50 percent of the credit hours required for graduation
• Be a current hospitality, tourism, or culinary arts major
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 in a 4.0 system or its equivalent, or be in the top 20 percent of the class
• Agree to uphold the values of excellence, leadership, creativity, service, and ethics
