Movers

Mover Position Responsibilities:

Movers are responsible for assisting new students with moving their belongings into IUP residence halls on Thursday, August 25; Friday, August 26; and Saturday, August 27, 2016.

Specific duties include:

• helping new students unload items from their vehicle in the parking area outside their residence hall and placing items onto supplied moving carts
• helping students take the cart to the room, and assist with unloading items from the cart

You may choose to sign up for one or more of these dates, but preference will be given to those students who can work several of these dates.

 Shifts are:

• Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (less spots available as this is a smaller move in day)
• Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (less spots available as this is a smaller move in day)
• Friday, August 26, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You will be contacted via e-mail once shifts have been confirmed.

Organizations are encouraged to sign up together, though each individual will need to register separately. 

*Please note that this application is not the Early Arrival Form. Should you be approved, or wish to move in early anyway, you will need to submit another form. The Early Arrival form will be accessible on the Housing website come July. (http://www.iup.edu/housing/)
