About
Meeting Professionals International is the largest meeting and event industry association worldwide. MPI provides innovative and relevant education, networking opportunities and business exchanges, and acts as a prominent voice for the industry's growth.
Within MPI we help give prospective meeting planners and hospitality students an opportunity to get a feel for the industry. Planning things like carnivals, sporting events, weddings, fundraisers, and even having guest speakers are just some of things we do as an organization!
We are in close contact with our Pittsburgh chapter and attend events with them to provide networking opportunities to our students! The Pittsburgh chapter hosts monthly events focused on either networking or education. As a student chapter we aim to attend at least one Pittsburgh event per semester. Our student chapter also plans their own events on campus each semester for students.
