About
Northern Suties sits comfrotably nestled into the North side of campus away from any streets. Northern is unique in that it is the only residence hall on campus not located directly by a traffic area. With its mature Red Oak tree in the courtyard and the Heritage Garden on the south side of the building, it is home to a lot of botanical and natural beauty. Students love to sit outside and study in the warmer months and look outside the many large picture windows from the warmth of the inside during the winter months.
Northern is a very comfortable community to live in with many easy-to-access resources for the students living here. If your classes are in Keith, Leonard, Walsh, Weyandt, Pratt, Whitmyre, Stright, Uhler, or Johnson, you are just a stone's throw away from all of those and the Oak Grove is not far either. Northern is located very close to the HUB as well giving students easy access to the Student Union, the fitness center, and the HUB food vendors. Many students find nearly all they need within a very short walk of Northern Suites.
Northern also houses the College of Natural Science and Mathematics Living-Learning Community and partners with many professors and administrators in the college to help students make a seamless transition between their living environment and their learning environment to help create life-long learners.
