The objectives of the Pan-African Student Association are to:

Identify the common problems faced by African people and people of African descent and to explore solutions to these problems
Promote the crucial contributions that Africa’s future leaders can make to the development of Africa
Give vitality to the studies of African students by showing how they can use their studies to address the problems of Africa and contribute to technology transfer to the continent, to the return of talent to Africa and to the spirit of service to the people of Africa
Create a more informed awareness among Americans about events in Africa and build a stronger sense of collaboration among African students, Americans, and all of humankind as a basis for an international network of leaders

All students and faculty registered with IUP shall be eligible for membership.
