An organization that supplies a secular perspective through which to increase awareness on the IUP campus of the role that religion plays in the arts, literature, politics, and other cultural and social areas. The committee does so through sponsoring lectures, performances, and other activities. The goal of the Society for the Appreciation of Cultural and Religious Diversity is to educate about religion, not to advocate for any particular religion or religious view. The Society for the Appreciation of Cultural and Religious Diversity is an organization for students interested in pursuing diversity through media discussion, collective book discussions, lecturers, movies, and trips.
