WIUP-FM 90.1
About
WIUP-FM is IUP's federally licensed, student-operated radio station broadcasting at 90.1fm and online at www.wiupfm.org. There are numerous ways to get involved with the station including on- and off-air positions and leadership opportunities. No prior radio experience is necessary, and though we are affiliated with the department of Communications Media, we welcome students from all majors.
On air positions include DJs staffing their own music programs, live sports broadcasting, news anchors, and more. Off air opportunities include supporting programming, production, music, and promotion departments. While the station is student run, a faculty advisor works closely with the student management and programming staff on directing and managing the station.
The station is also a recognized campus activity and is not associated with coursework or other credit-bearing activity.
